ABOUT US
Our Story
Our story began with a quiet but persistent question.
For many years, our founder was a devoted believer and reader of the Bible. Yet with time, he began to feel that something essential was missing — not in faith itself, but in the text as it had been passed down through history. Certain passages, perspectives, and meanings seemed incomplete.
Rather than accepting this uncertainty, he chose to search.
Over the years, he traveled to regions deeply connected to the origins of Christianity — visiting ancient churches, monasteries, and religious centers across Europe and beyond. His goal was not to reinterpret Scripture, but to understand its earliest foundations.
During a visit to a historic church in Italy, a priest introduced him to Ethiopia — one of the world’s oldest Christian civilizations, where ancient biblical traditions have been preserved for centuries. Guided by this encounter, he journeyed to Ethiopia and there discovered an original Ethiopian Bible written in ancient languages.
Although unable to read the text himself, he understood its significance.
To ensure accuracy and integrity, he collaborated with scholars of ancient languages and biblical researchers from Roman church research institutes. Using academic translation methods, historical manuscripts, and verified research materials, the text was carefully studied, cross-referenced, and translated into English.
When the completed English translation was finally read, the sense of absence that had accompanied him for so many years was gone. The previously unfamiliar books and passages offered deeper clarity, broader context, and renewed spiritual insight.
Yet this discovery was never meant to be kept private.
Believing that sacred knowledge should be shared rather than owned, our founder chose to make this Ethiopian Bible accessible to others. A portion of the proceeds from this work is donated to the research institutions involved, supporting their continued efforts to study, preserve, and uncover other lost or lesser-known biblical texts.
Today, our mission remains simple:
to share meaningful works of faith and history, and to support the scholarship that helps preserve them for future generations.
This is not just a bookstore.
It is a continuation of a journey — one rooted in faith, scholarship, and the belief that what was once lost can still be found.
